Shin Min-a, Kim Seon-ho, and Lee Sang-yi star in the ongoing South Korean television series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (Korean: ; RR: Gaenmaeul Chachacha; lit. Seaside Village Chachacha). It's a remake of the South Korean film Mr. Handy, Mr. Hong, which came out in 2004. It first aired on tvN on August 28, 2021, and is broadcast every Saturday and Sunday at 21:00. (KST). Synopsis
Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min-a), a smart and attractive dentist in the big city, loses her job after she correctly accuses the clinic's head doctor of overdoing patients' treatment for financial gain. She travels to the idyllic seaside village of Gongjin, where she meets Hong Du-sik, a jack-of-all-trades (Kim Seon-ho). Du-sik is well-liked in the village because he looks after the elders and is not afraid to take on odd jobs. The two people's paths cross several times by chance, and they take a liking to each other, while Du-sik constantly saves Hye-jin from trouble.
